Hansel and Gretel – August 22 – Lunch on the Lawn

The Kilby Historic Site is pleased to present, Hansel and Gretel, a timeless fairy tale that draws audiences of all ages into a magical and mysterious adventure.

Two brave siblings find themselves lost in the woods and come upon a candy house with a not-so-sweet resident inside. With moments of humour, music, and heart, the story of Hansel and Gretel is sure to captivate all.

Runtime is approximately 90 minutes. This special performance will have a 60-minute intermission for lunch.

The performance starts at 11AM. The seating area will be opened at 10:30AM. Seats are not assigned so plan to come early to get the best seats!

Intermission will run from 12PM-1PM.

Lunch Options:

1. Bring your own tasty picnic (alcoholic beverages and cookstoves are not permitted onsite).
2. Arrive early (10AM-10:30AM) and order from our themed Hansel & Gretel menu. It will be prepared and ready for you to pick up during intermission.
3. Reserve a table and dine in our café. Make a reservation by emailing cafe@kilby.ca

Your ticket includes complimentary admission to the historic site on the day of the performance. The historic site and café are open 10AM-4PM.

The performance will take place in a covered area outdoors at the Kilby Historic Site (in our Orchard Shed). Please dress according to the weather.

Please note that season pass holders can only claim one discounted ticket per senior/adult/student pass and four discounted tickets per family pass (two adults and two children).
