Welcome to the Kilby Café! Enjoy freshly made sandwiches, homemade soups, and decadent baked goods.

The Kilby Café and Gift Shop is located at the entrance to the Kilby Historic Site. Housed in a reconstruction of the Kilby’s horse barn (built in 1987 by the Agassiz-Harrison Lions Club, using the original design and techniques), our kitchen offers fresh and comforting foods. Meanwhile, the gift shop is fully stocked with locally made goods, art, candy, and more!

You are welcome to visit the café and gift shop anytime during our business hours! (Admission is not required.)

					Worth the drive to visit Very cool attraction. Great & engaging staff in the general store explaining to the kids by asking questions about the space. Definitely want to visit again with the kids!

					Sunday afternoon trip to an old Store Spent a couple hour visiting the sight, lots of Small animals for kids (goats, miniature donkeys, pigs, chickens) General store full of many artifacts, tin cans galore, and many displays about the history of the Kilby’s. Lunch was very good with Homemade soups, salads and very fresh sandwiches. Well worth a visit when in the area

					Hidden gem The store and farm are lovingly restored. There are a few farm animals, a gas pump and exhibition of old farm machinery. The little museum above the store has information on Kilby’s history, Sasquash, historic clothing and much more. There was a little quiz and additional activities for children. The volunteers were very welcoming friendly.

					Hidden little Gem! This place was a hidden gem and our second time stopping here with our family. Cost to get in for a family was very affordable at $30 for myself and 5 kids. They have a cute little restaurant where you can eat inside or out in the garden. We packed a lunch and had a picnic on sight. The grounds have beautiful flowers with lots of grassy areas or benches for picnics. They have farm animals that you can buy little bags of feed that cost $1. The kids got to participate in tin piercing and have tea while one of the interpreters explained the history. We got into the main building which is the general store/hotel and the kids got to explore and ask questions and the very sweet lady behind the counter showed the kids all of the vintage toys and how they worked and they even got to try them out! When we were finished we went back through the gift shop and got a couple of treats for the kids. They also have an assortment of ice cream as well.

					Great Family Enjoyment We enjoy visiting here since we live pretty close. What I would really recommend is visiting here for lunch. The food is really good, and they have unique beers to enjoy as well. Great family event.

					A unique experience close to the big city. This hidden gem is a must visit in the upper Fraser Valley. It is like stepping back in time to the early part of the last century. The staff are very dedicated and knowledgable in the history of the site and area. Allow a couple of hours to properly take it all in.
