Nestled in the heart of the Fraser Valley, the Kilby Historic Site
is a unique destination for tour buses and adult groups.

Stretch your legs as you travel back to an early 1900’s rural community. Visit a 1906 General Store museum complete with original merchandise. Observe the antics of our friendly farm animals. Taste freshly churned butter, or watch a ‘revealing’ show. Give your group a historic trip to remember!
Groups are welcome to tour on their own or book an interactive experience.
Special bus parking is available with an easy drop-off and pick-up spot near the entrance.
The Kilby Historic Site offers complimentary admission for (1) the bus driver and (1) director. The director and driver also receive (1) complimentary meal when the group reserves lunch in our Café.

Group rates require 15 or more guests during regular hours of operation.

Group Visit Types

Self-Guided Heritage Tour

Minimum group size: 15 people (10% off total admission)

Every season lends different magic to the site. Self-guided tours are fun and easy with maps and schedules distributed at arrival. Costumed interpreters will be available throughout the site to answer questions and share information. We accept one payment for the entire group upon arrival.

Guided Heritage Tour

$14/person plus GST

Journey back in time and learn about the lively community of Harrison Mills during its heyday. A lively costumed guide will lead participants through the Heritage site including Farm, 1906 General Store and upstairs Manchester House Hotel.  Animal feed will be available should guests desire to get up close and personal with our furry and feathered friends. (Minimum charge, 15 people)

Interactive Heritage Tour

$18/person plus GST – no lunch

Make your trip come alive!! Combined with a guided Heritage tour, groups can choose from one “Add-on” activity. Each activity is approximately 30 minutes in length. (Minimum charge, 15 people).

$40/person – includes tax and gratuity

Add-on Experiences for Interactive Tours

Victorian Secrets: A Revealing Experience | 30 minutes

One of our most popular year ‘round adult shows!! What was it REALLY like back in 1910. This delightful 30–40 minute show incorporates humour, music, and many ‘revealing’ surprises. Myth busting at its best!

Butter Making (Year-Round) | 30 minutes

Guests have a first-hand experience at making butter through a fun & interactive demonstration. Fresh samples to follow on sourdough bread.

Ice Cream Making (April to June) | 45 minutes

Ice Cream the old-fashioned way! This fun and interactive demonstration allows visitors to learn by instruction and participation. The reward is a sample of their freshly churned treat.

Apple Cider Pressing (September to November) | 45 minutes

Guests try their hand at turning apples into juice using our century-old Apple Press. Stories and samples are the rewards for their hard work.

Payment A 50% Deposit is required upon booking by Credit Card and full payment required 7 days prior to your tour. Cancellations must be received 7 days prior to the tour date for a full refund. Cancellations 3 days prior to the tour date only 50% of the deposit will be refunded. Cancellations less than 3 days there will be no refund of deposit.

People with disabilities Visitors with disabilities pay regular admission, while their attendants are free. Our gravel pathways around the farm allow easy access to feed and pet the animals. Our historic site is filled with wonderful sights, sounds and smells that guarantee a splendid experience for all.

All of our sandwiches are created on fresh, locally baked bread, and include our popular “made from scratch” soup, a beverage, and freshly baked pie.
(Sandwich selections include: Roast Beef, Egg Salad, Ham and Cheese, Tuna Salad, and Turkey Havarti).

We have 5 acres of heritage gardens, a fully fenced enclosed historic site and even a working farm to keep the children entertained. Whether you envision a traditional ceremony in our Orchard or a tranquil celebration in one of gardens, this amazing location offers a backdrop of natural beauty that will make your special day one to remember. For your reception needs the choices are endless! For example we can accommodate a lavish sit down meal for up to 200, an intimate English tea garden picnic or a rustic country-style BBQ. Is your group looking for something special to do? We offer specialized tours aimed at your group’s interests. Anthropology, Quilt making, Agri-Tourism, Genealogy, Artists Guilds, Caring for Collections, You name it we will source a specialist to deliver a tour tailored to your groups needs.

Workshop and Seminar Facilities

If your group is requiring a place to hold a meeting, workshop or seminar we have the space. Our heritage facilities will make your meeting special. We have seating for up to sixty people in our restaurant. Private office space is also available for smaller groups. Although we pride ourselves for our 1920s ambience, our facilities include high-tech equipment such as computers, projectors, overhead projectors and more if you require.
