Hansel and Gretel – August 14 – Matinee

The Kilby Historic Site is pleased to present, Hansel and Gretel, a timeless fairy tale that draws audiences of all ages into a magical and mysterious adventure.

Two brave siblings find themselves lost in the woods and come upon a candy house with a not-so-sweet resident inside. With moments of humour, music, and heart, the story of Hansel and Gretel is sure to captivate all.

Runtime is approximately 90 minutes, plus a 10-minute intermission.

The performance starts at 1PM. The seating area will be opened at 12:30PM. Seats are not assigned so plan to come early to get the best seats!

The performance will take place in a covered area outdoors at the Kilby Historic Site (in our Orchard Shed). Please dress according to the weather.

Your ticket includes free admission to the Kilby Historic Site on the day of the performance so please join us for the day! The historic site and café are open 10AM-4PM. Grab lunch with us (reservations can be made by emailing cafe@kilby.ca), explore our 1906 general store museum, say hello to our friendly farm animals, and soak in the sights and sounds of Harrison Mills.
