The Wizard of Oz

Kilby’s “Behind the Gate Theatre Company” presents The Wizard of Oz! Come enjoy the story of Dorothy and her friends in the Land of Oz. Hear your favourite songs such as Somewhere over the Rainbow and If I only had a Brain.
Runtime is approximately 75 minutes (no intermission except on August 23rd when we will have an hour-long dining interval, bring a picnic lunch!).
The matinees start at 1PM, and the evening performance on August 22nd starts at 7PM. The seating area will be opened 30 minutes prior to showtime. Seats are not assigned so plan to come early to get the best seats!
The performance will take place in a covered area outdoors at the Kilby Historic Site (in our Orchard Shed) so please dress appropriately.
$25/adult and $18/seniors or youth. Reserve tickets online. Tickets will go live on June 16th, 2025.
Guests are welcome to explore the Kilby Historic Site free of charge on the day of the performance. (Please show your receipt to our staff for admission). The historic site is open 11AM-4PM and includes a 1906 general store museum, friendly farm animals, and a café.
