Reader’s Theatre: A Christmas Carol

The Kilby Historic Site presents “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens. The tale begins on a Christmas eve when miserly Scrooge is visited by four ghosts. Performed in Reader’s Theatre style with festive music peppered throughout, this timeless story will open hearts and minds to reveal the true meaning of Christmas. This performance is suitable for ages 8 and up.*

Join Miss Chris for an explanation of what A Christmas Carol is about. Meet some cast members before the play begins. This is helpful for young audience members who may not be familiar with the story or may find certain elements frightening if they are unprepared.
