Nestled in the heart of the Fraser Valley, the Kilby Historic Site
is a unique destination for tour buses and adult groups.

Stretch your legs as you travel back to an original 1906 General Store and farm, complete with original merchandise. Observe the antics of our friendly farm animals. Choose one of our popular add-ons to give your group a historic trip to remember!


Groups are welcome to explore on their own or book an interactive experience. The Kilby Historic Site offers complimentary admission for the bus driver and director (as well as complimentary lunch if booked for the group).

Group Rate Requirement

For group rates to apply, there must be 15 or more guests during our regular season. If you would like to tour the site during the off-season, the minimum requirement is 20 or more people.

Group Admission – Self-guided

Every season lends different magic to the site. Self-guided tours are fun and easy with maps and schedules distributed upon arrival. Wander the site at your leisure. Costumed interpreters will be available throughout the site to answer questions and share information. We accept one payment for the entire group upon arrival. *See details section for information regarding payment.

Guided Heritage Tour (45 minutes)

$16/person plus GST

Minimum charge, 15 people during our regular season. (Off-season: 20 people or more).

Journey back in time and learn about the thriving community of Harrison Mills during its heyday. A lively costumed guide will lead participants through the Heritage site including the Farm, 1906 General Store, and Manchester House Hotel. Animal feed will be available should guests desire to get up close and personal with our furry and feathered friends.

NEW! Bus Tour Special

$25/person plus GST

Minimum charge, 15 people during our regular season. (Off-season: 20 people or more).

This tour offers a little bit of everything including a designated site host, general admission to the historic site, a live performance of Victorian Secrets: A Revealing Experience, as well as a fresh pastry with coffee or tea.

Add a scumptious lunch to your tour! All of our sandwiches are created on fresh, locally baked bread and include soup, a beverage, and a slice of freshly baked pie.

Victorian Secrets: A Revealing Experience | 30 minutes

One of our most popular year ‘round adult shows!! What did women really wear under their clothes in 1906? This delightful 30-40 minute show incorporates humour, music, and many ‘revealing’ surprises. Myth busting at its best!

*Please note, we also have an offsite option for this show. Let us bring “Victorian Secrets” to your location—Conferences, birthday parties, and more. Off site rate: $210 flat rate for up to 30 people. Over 30 people, $6 per person. Mileage may apply.

Butter Making (Year-Round) | 30 minutes

Guests have a first-hand experience at making butter through a fun and interactive demonstration. Fresh samples to follow on sourdough bread.

Ice Cream Making (Year-Round) | 45 minutes

Ice Cream the old-fashioned way! This fun and interactive demonstration invites everyone to participate. The reward is a sample of their freshly churned treat.

Apple Cider Pressing (September to October) | 45 minutes

Guests try their hand at turning apples into juice using our century-old Apple Press. Stories and samples are the rewards for their hard work.

Details

Visitors with disabilties: Guests with disabilities pay regular admission, while their attendants are free. Our gravel pathways may pose a challenge for those with ambulant disabilities but the historic site is wheelchair accessible. For more accessibility information see our Plan Your Visit page.

Payment Details: A 50% deposit of the total booking fee is required by credit card to book. The balance is due on the day of your tour. (Payments are processed for the whole group).

Cancellations:

  • We must be notified of cancellations 7 days prior to the tour date for a full refund.
  • 50% of the deposit will be refunded for cancellations received 6-3 days in advance.
  • There will be no refund for cancellations received less than 3 days in advance. A receipt will be sent by email to confirm your tour booking.

    Workshop and Seminar Facilities

    If your group is requiring a place to hold a meeting, workshop, or seminar we have the space. Our heritage facilities will make your meeting special. We have seating for up to sixty people in our restaurant. Private office space is also available for smaller groups. Although we pride ourselves for our 1900s ambience, our facilities include high-tech equipment such as computers, projectors, and more if you require.
