Mothers from this endangered species return year after year to raise their young in the attics of the Kilby Historic Site. \nNew this year: Visit the upstairs in the museum to hear delightful squeals and shuffling as the bats prepare to fly! \nWe partner with BC Bats to monitor the health of the maternity colony onsite. To learn more about bat conservation\, and the work that BC Bats does\, check out their website! \n
