DESCRIPTION:As part of the Tourism Harrison’s Summer Harvest Series\, we will be having “Udderly” Delicious Treats daily! \nFresh butter and ice cream have never tasted so good. Udderly delicious! Join us each day this summer at 1PM as we demonstrate how to churn fresh cream into butter or ice cream. Free samples for all! \nButter Making – 1PM Monday & Thursday to Saturday \nIce Cream Making – 1PM Sunday only \nThe Kilbys not only ran a general store\, but also managed a thriving dairy farm. Visit the farm to meet our gentle Jersey cow\, or get close and personal with our friendly turkeys\, chickens\, rabbit\, and goat. \nRegular admission rates apply.

Please check our website for updates. \nOur Little Brown Myotis colony is alive and doing well with a count of over 3000 bats last year! Mothers from this endangered species return year after year to raise their young in the attics of the Kilby Historic Site. \nNew this year: Visit the upstairs in the museum to hear delightful squeals and shuffling as the bats prepare to fly! \nWe partner with BC Bats to monitor the health of the maternity colony onsite. To learn more about bat conservation\, and the work that BC Bats does\, check out their website! \n
