With over 120 years of history, the General Store is the last standing building of a once thriving community. Hundreds of people have walked through her doors. Our investigators have found evidence that some are still with us! Investigators will be set up in various ‘known-to-be’ haunted hot-spots in the Store and Hotel. After an explanation of their equipment, you will get a chance to discover if there is an active spooky side to our site. Your tour will visit 4 areas in the Museum/Hotel, and one on the grounds.
The evening is not recommended for youth under 10 years old. All minors must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear proper outdoor footwear as there will be some periods of walking outdoors on uneven ground.
The Café is open from 5 – 8pm should you wish to have a light meal before your tour. Hearty homemade soups, fresh sandwiches, pie, and ice cream are available for purchase before your program. Outdoor and indoor eating facilities are available.
The Kilby Historic Site is operated by a charitable, non-profit with a board of volunteers. This event is a fundraiser and part of the proceeds go towards the sustainability of the historic site.
