Father’s Day – Black Powder

Join us as we step back in time to the 1880’s for our 10th annual Black Power event on Father’s Day! Muskets, Pistols, Bows and Arrows – and even a Cannon will be on site today. Fibre Festival

Calling all spinners, knitters, quilters, weavers, basket-makers and fibre enthusiasts- don’t miss our first ever Fibre Festival at Kilby Historic Site! We’ll be celebrating all fibre arts with an art market, demonstrations, fibre animals, door prizes and more—whether you’re a beginner, an expert or just plain curious we’ll have something here to inspire your creativity! Pirate Day

Ahoy there! Join us for a day of pirate fun for the kids! Dress in your best pirate costume to win a prize in our costume contest. There’ll be pirate games, crafts and of course, a treasure hunt!

Visitor Appreciation Summer Carnival

Back by popular demand: our old-fashioned Summer Carnival! A festive bash we throw to celebrate all our partners and supporters, this event is ‘admission by donation’. Plein Air Painting Festival

August 26 - August 28
Join us for the 2nd annual Plein Air Painting festival. This “In the Open Air” painting festival was a great success last year, so be sure to mark your calendars! Come and see the competitors as their paintings develop on Friday and Saturday! Then all completed paintings will be displayed for the public on Sunday . Autumn Harvest Festival

Join us as we celebrate the turning of the season! Witness an apple cider pressing demonstration on our 100 year-old apple press and browse our mini farmer’s market for delicious local foodstuffs while the kids make autumn-themed crafts. Check back soon as we are still planning this event! October 8 - October 9
Our Kilby Thanksgiving is on October 8 & 9 between 11 am and 4 pm. Don’t miss our famous Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings! We have visitors that come from as far away as Kamloops and Vancouver for our Roast Turkey special. Dinner includes beverage and dessert for $19.95. Reserve early to guarantee a spot! Our sittings are at 12 pm, 2 pm, and 4 pm. Check back soon for updates!

Bald Eagle Festival

Kilby is the perfect place to plan for lunch on this Festival weekend.
