Kilby is the perfect place to plan for lunch on this Festival weekend. Join us for some hearty, home-cooked specials in our cozy café. We’ll also be barbequing gourmet Smokies, hamburgers and hot dogs on the grounds for those who want a quick bite on the go. Lighter options include homemade pies, muffins and scones complete with Back Porch coffee and hot chocolate.
Then enjoy a short walking tour down the dyke to the confluence of the Fraser and Harrison rivers at Kilby Park. A costumed interpreter will explain the relationship between the salmon and eagles, and tell the story of this once thriving mill town of Harrison Mills. Tours are at 10 am, noon and 2 pm.
This 5 acre BC Heritage attraction is a 1920’s living history site that includes our 1906 General Store Museum, the Manchester House Hotel & Post Office, as well as farming exhibits and an orchard playground. Chat with costumed interpreters, stroll through our heritage farm.
Don’t forget to make time for our gift shop, with a wonderful assortment of offerings from local artisans and producers, including pottery, artwork, wood carvings and Kilby brand jams & preserves.
