Fraser Valley Bald Eagle Festival

November 18 - November 19

Kilby Eagle Festival Poster

Kilby is the perfect place to plan for lunch on this Festival weekend. Join us for some hearty, home-cooked specials in our cozy café.  We’ll also be barbequing gourmet Smokies, hamburgers and hot dogs on the grounds for those who want a quick bite on the go. Check out last year’s menu to get an idea of our menu options: eagle-festival-menu

Then enjoy a short walking tour down the dyke to the confluence of the Fraser and Harrison rivers at Kilby Park. A costumed interpreter will explain the relationship between the salmon and eagles, and tell the story of this once thriving mill town of Harrison Mills. Tours are at 10 am, noon and 2 pm.

Throughout both days: Nikon Canada and London Drugs will be our special guests on site. Their tents display a wonderful selection of cameras and binoculars, as well as lots of free give-a-ways. Come visit with hands on guidance from photography and binocular experts.

To be confirmed for 2017 – Binocular 101 – Travis Merrick from Nikon Canada will show how best to setup binoculars and find a great set for comfortable viewing

This 5 acre BC Heritage attraction is a 1920’s living history site that includes our 1906 General Store Museum, the Manchester House Hotel & Post Office, as well as farming exhibits and an orchard playground. Chat with costumed interpreters, stroll through our heritage farm.

Don’t forget to make time for our gift shop, with a wonderful assortment of offerings from local artisans and producers, including pottery, artwork, wood carvings and unique gift ideas.

Special Event hours of operation:

Free admission – 9 am to 4 pm

Thinking of staying the weekend? We have a beautiful 35 site campground just down the road at Kilby Park. Winter rates are only $15 a night!
